The Family Church belongs to the Newfrontiers group of churches; we are also members of the Evangelical Alliance, and of the Christchurch Fellowship of Churches.

The Family Church Christchurch, Dorset, was started over twenty years ago, and for much of that time we have never had our own building. Recently however, we bought Hope House, a small church building in Jumpers Road (map). Our full-time staff are based there, and we are able to use Hope House for many of our midweek activities. We still have our main Sunday Service at The Regent Centre, Christchurch High Street (map) because there are too many of us to fit into Hope House!

We believe in an Almighty God who loves us and wants to be involved in our lives. We believe that what the Bible says is true, and that the Bible contains ‘God’s instructions for life’.
