Rejection is a very hard thing to bear. Maybe a parent left you when you were young, and you have never seen him or her since. Or maybe your partner left you. Perhaps another family member, or a friend has rejected you. Sadly, people will let us down, they will fail us sometimes, and hurt us, because they’re human.
The Bible says in Romans 8 verse 38; "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." |
