We held "Party in the Park" following our Sunday service. As usual, all eyes had been on the local weather forecasts. Wind and rain had been forecast, and unfortunately - this time they got it right....!! Oh, the joys of 'open-air' meetings....
Although the weather did dampen many of the people of Christchurch, there were a number who refused to let it spoil a fun day. Eventually the weather did clear up - so a good (if sometimes soggy) time was had by many.

How do you face your worse nightmare?

What happened to Paula must be every parent's worse nightmare. Her four year old daughter had a cough and cold like her other children but it deteriorated, and she was rushed from one hospital to another, eventually ending up in intensive care in Southampton General fighting for her life.
