"Christian Action Together for Solidarity Ministries" (ACTS)
in a small village near the capital city of Ouagadougou. Initially the work invited 25 children and 12 widows to partake in the ministry program. The number of individuals asking to be part of the ministry has grown in the last year. Housing is desperately needed for them.
ACTS mission is to bring the love of Christ and hope to those who live under the stigma of being AIDS widows and orphans. They minister to these poorest of poor through relief, education, feeding programs, training, literacy, health and social care programs, helping to restore their dignity and relieve human suffering.
